Media Advisory - Waterfront Toronto Unveils Submissions for Jarvis Slip Design Competition

    Waterfront Toronto recently launched an innovative design competition to
    enhance the public space at the foot of Lower Jarvis Street. The goal of
    this competition is to create a signature urban public space at the
    water's edge that will anchor the new East Bayfront community.

    On January 18, 2008, Waterfront Toronto is holding a briefing to give
    media an opportunity to see the design teams' submissions prior to the
    launch of a public exhibition on January 21, 2008 and to interview
    representatives from each of the teams.

    Design submissions will be unveiled publicly at a presentation on
    January 21, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Metro Hall, main floor Rotunda
    (55 John Street). The submissions will remain on display at Metro Hall
    until January 25, 2008. The winner of the competition will be announced
    on Friday, February 01, 2008.
