Media Advisory - Town Hall Meeting on Poverty and Health Care

    TORONTO, Sept. 18 /CNW/ - Recent studies show that the income gap between
the rich and other Canadian families is growing at a faster rate than ever.
The majority of Canadian families are falling behind and Canada's gap between
rich and poor is at a 30-year high.
    Join Judy Rebick at a town hall meeting on poverty and health care for a
dynamic discussion. Panelists will include Natalie Mehra, John Clarke, Laura
Cowan, and Doris Grinspun.
    The town hall meeting will be held at Ryerson University tonight at 7 pm.
    The meeting is co-sponsored by Street Health, the Ontario Health
Coalition, The Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, Sistering, CAW-Sam Gindin
Chair in Social Justice & Democracy.
