Media Advisory - Tour de Blue to cross the finish line at SickKids

    Team cycled from Vancouver to Toronto to raise funds for SickKids

    TORONTO, June 22 /CNW/ - On Sunday, June 24, more than 50 eager cyclists
led by Mattamy Homes' CEO Peter Gilgan will cross the finish line at The
Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) to complete the 2007 Tour de Blue, a
4000 km bike trek from Vancouver to Toronto.
    Gilgan and seven avid cyclists began their journey in Vancouver on June
13 and will join up with 45 additional cyclists in Port Carling, Ontario on
June 23. The second annual Tour de Blue is scheduled to arrive at SickKids on
Sunday, June 24 at approximately 4 p.m. with a goal of raising $500,000 that
will go towards critical research in pain management at SickKids.
