TORONTO, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - The Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA),
in cooperation with the financial services industry, will hold the first-ever
All Candidates Debate on the issues facing the financial services sector in
the Toronto region. The media are invited to attend this presentation, to gain
a better understanding of where the parties stand on issues that affect
Toronto's and Ontario's most important industry (in terms of employment and
contribution to gross provincial product).

Ecker, and the candidates will respond to issues on international
competitiveness presented by Frank Swedlove, President of the Canadian Life
and Health Insurance Association; on taxation by Nancy Hughes Anthony,
President and CEO, Canadian Bankers Association; on regulation by Scott
Perkin, President, Association of Canadian Pension Management; and on
workforce challenges by Darryl Wolanski, Senior Manager, FSI Talent, Deloitte.
The candidates will also respond to questions from industry
representatives in the audience.
