Media Advisory - The Whistler Sliding Centre 101

    WHISTLER, BC, Jan. 26 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the
2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will provide media with a
technical briefing via teleconference on The Whistler Sliding Centre track in
advance of the bobsleigh and skeleton Sport Events taking place from February
5 to 7, 2009. Sport officials will share specific details on the technical
elements and course design of the track as well as details on the upcoming
bobsleigh, skeleton and luge Sport Events.
    The briefing will begin with an online presentation that will be
available to media from Craig Lehto, director of The Whistler Sliding Centre
and Terry Gudzowsky, technical delegate from the International Bobsleigh and
Tobogganing Federation (FIBT) followed by a questions and answer period.
