    NEW HAMBURG, ON, May 29 /CNW/ -

    What:   The 42nd annual New Hamburg Mennonite Relief Sale
            & Quilt Auction

    When:   Saturday May 30th 7:00 am to 4:30 pm
            Note: the Feature Quilt, which in the past has sold for as much
            as $44,000, will be auctioned off approximately between noon and
            1:00 pm.
            Following that a double quartet and the audience will sing Praise
            God from Whom All Blessings Flow (The Mennonite Anthem)

    Where:  Fairgrounds and arena, New Hamburg, Ont. (map at

    Why:    From scrumptious food of the Mennonite culture to children's
            activities and the auction of over 200 handmade quilts, the New
            Hamburg Mennonite Relief sale is a tradition that has raised over
            $14 million for the Mennonite Central Committee, a not-for-profit
            relief, service, development and peace agency.
            There will also be an opportunity to speak with Sale volunteers
            from the community and members of the Board of Directors
