Media Advisory - Ten tribes, ten wishes, one goal

    CALGARY, Sept. 10 /CNW/ -

WHAT: Exile Island - Alberta's most unique pledge raising fundraiser.
Based on the reality TV show Survivor, participants have formed
tribes of 10 people and will be subject to competitions,
surprises and much excitement. Each tribe has the ultimate goal
of granting a specific wish to a local child which will be
delivered by the end of the day.

Armed only with personal communication devices, tribes will
compete to collect the most money in donations and pledges by
calling friends, family and colleagues. As part of the day's
activities, tribe captains will also lead their team of
castaways in a variety of challenging mental and physical
contests including running the gauntlet, navigating a ball
maze, completing a memory challenge and much more.

Competition promises to be fierce, but in the end participants
will ensure that children suffering from life-threatening
illness are the real winners when their most heart-felt wishes
are granted to travel to Hawaii to swim with dolphins, visit
Cinderella in Disneyland, walk on the deck of the HMS Belfast
              in England, and so on.
