TORONTO, June 9 /CNW/ - WHAT: Students at Bedford Park Public School have raised one million pennies in support of The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. The students will be presenting the one million pennies at a presentation to Children's Wish at a special school assembly. The amount raised, $10,000, will go towards granting a wish for a special child. Last September a devoted and respected teacher of the school, Kristen Clutterbuck, sadly passed away from cancer at the age of 33. The students, teachers, parents and her friends have embarked on a Million Penny campaign. Their hope and wish was to collect one million pennies to be donated to Children's Wish in Kristen's memory.
