Media Advisory - Speeders targeted in month-long campaign

    VANCOUVER, May 13 /CNW/ - ICBC and police across the province are urging
drivers to slow down, especially over the long weekend and along highways, as
part of a month-long campaign targeting speeding.
    The West Vancouver Police Department (WVPD), RCMP and Integrated Road
Safety Unit (IRSU) are ramping up enforcement along the Sea to Sky Highway.

    What:     The police are offering media opportunities to ride along in a
              ghost car or use a handheld laser gun to clock speeders. ICBC
              and police representatives will be available for interviews and
              photos. This event coincides with Canada's Road Safety Week
              (May 12-18).
