Media Advisory - Seventh Annual Worst Roads Campaign

    HAMILTON, ON, Aug. 12 /CNW/ -

    What:  The seventh annual Worst Road campaign

    CAA and the Ontario Road Builders' Association will be on Upper James
Street, to tell Hamiltonians about the start of voting for the Worst Road in
the province. They will be at the gas station at 914 Upper James Street to
talk about the impact of bad roads, bridges and highways to members of the
media. They will also urge municipalities to start accessing the money
allocated for infrastructure by the federal and provincial governments. We
will also unveil how much bad roads really cost taxpayers and provide an
update on the status of repair on Stone Church Road voted No. 9 on last year's
Top 20 Worst Roads list.
