NEPEAN, ON, Sept. 27 /CNW/ - In recognition of the service and sacrifice
of the Nepean area veterans and surviving spouses of the Second World War,
Scotiabank is very pleased to present a cheque for $10,100 to the Nepean
Museum Curator in support of the production of a unique, all-weather plaque
that Nepean area veterans can proudly display inside or outside of their

Other Nepean Veterans Event:
- On Saturday, November 10, 2007 there will be a presentation to the
first of the Nepean veterans who will receive their plaque. The event will
take place at Ben Franklin Place in Nepean. Dignitaries from the Armed Forces,
the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and the Royal Canadian Legion are expected to
attend the ceremony which will include a Royal Canadian Legion Colour Party
and a Military Band.
