Media advisory - Sandrine Craig's memorial service

    OTTAWA, May 22 /CNW Telbec/ -

WHAT: Memorial service to mark the 10th anniversary of Sandrine Craig's
organ donation, which helped six people in need of a transplant.

WHEN: Sunday, May 24, 3:00 PM (Eastern)

    WHERE: Pinecrest Cemetery
            2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa

WHY: Ottawa resident Sandrine Craig was only 11 years old when her
young life was cut tragically short in a school bus. However,
thanks to the decision by Sandrine's family to donate her organs,
the lives of six Canadians were saved or forever improved. This
gift of life from a young girl brought together the City of
Ottawa and shone a national spot light on the value of organ
donations. On May 24th, Sandrine's family will hold a public
memorial service to mark the 10th Anniversary of Sandrine's Gift
and remind people of the need for organ and tissue donations.
