Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA) will celebrate the official Grand Opening of
its new permanent auction site in London (Putnam), Ontario with a one-day
unreserved public auction and ribbon cutting ceremony. At 8:45 a.m., Mayor Jim
Maudsley of the Municipality of Thames Centre will cut the Grand Opening
ribbon to officially open the new site, followed by an unreserved public
auction that is expected to attract hundreds of bidders from the local area
and beyond. Ritchie Bros., the world's largest auctioneer of industrial and
agricultural equipment, was established in B.C. in 1958. The Company now has
38 auction sites around the world, including a site in Toronto, Ontario.
"We've built our business on a commitment to fair, unreserved auctions
and doing the right thing by buyers and sellers of equipment and we're excited
to be bringing that same level of service to the Ontario farming community,"
said Brian Dykstra, Ritchie Bros. Regional Manager. "We're pleased to now have
a permanent agricultural auction site in London to serve our local and

More than 220 good quality, used agricultural equipment items and
tractors will be sold on auction day, with no minimum bids or reserve prices,
including MFWD, 2WD and 4WD tractors, combines, seeding and spraying
equipment, headers, balers and more. The auction is open to the public;
registration to bid is free.
