Media advisory - Rally to support striking Commissionaires

    OTTAWA, Feb. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Commissionaires on strike and their
supporters will hold a rally in front of Commissionaires Ottawa's office to
urge this employer to negotiate a fair collective agreement.
    Those workers are normally assigned to provide security services at the
Health Canada buildings at Tunney's Pasture, and other locations.
    They have been on strike for more than three months. The employer offers
no salary increase for the first year of a contract and wages increases below
the inflation rate for the subsequent years.
