Canada and local aid organizations will come together to commemorate World
Refugee Day on June 20, 2008
    World Refugee Day is celebrated around the world and is an occasion to
extend encouragement, support and respect to refugees.
    In Canada, events are organized in several cities including Vancouver,
Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.

    Vancouver, BC

    WHAT:  "A day in the life of a refugee claimant", an experiential event
           illustrating the challenges facing refugee claimants who arrive in
           Vancouver, artwork, crafts and live music, World Refugee Day
