Media advisory - PSAC members to canvass the public at Fortress Louisbourg

    LOUISBOURG, NS, July 23 /CNW Telbec/ - Public Service Alliance of Canada
members will canvass visitors to the Fortress of Louisbourg Encampment and
explain the vital role they play in protecting Canada's historic sites.
    The event is designed to celebrate the contributions of the workers who
protect, preserve and communicate the significance of Canada's natural and
cultural heritage sites for the benefit of visitors from across Canada and
around the world.

    Who:   Public Service Alliance of Canada members who maintain Canada's
           historic sites

    What:  Greeting visitors and distributing information about the crucial
           role Parks Canada employees play in preserving and maintaining
           historic sites

    When:  9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26;
           Sunday 9 a.m. to noon

    Where: Building adjacent to 7535 Main Street, Louisbourg
