Media Advisory - Provincial resources to be put to the test

    TORONTO, Sept. 27 /CNW/ -

    What:        As part of an annual program exercise, the provincial CBRNE
                 (chemical, biological, radiation, nuclear and explosives)
                 teams will be deployed to demonstrate their program
                 resources and abilities in responding to a hazardous
                 materials emergency in Gananoque.

    Who:         Doug Crawford, Deputy Fire Marshal of Ontario
                 Carol-Lynn Chambers, OFM Operations Manager/Chief of
                 Emergency Planning and Strategic Development
                 Kim Ayotte, Chief of Special Operations, Ottawa Fire
                 Department (Level 3 Team)
                 Steve Reid, Captain, City of Peterborough (Level 2 Team)
                 Ontario Fire Chiefs
                 Fire service personnel

    When:        Thursday, September 27, 2007
                 8:00 a.m.

    Where:       Intersection of King Street and Market Street
                 Gananoque, Ontario
                 (From Hwy 401, take exit 645, then follow Hwy 32 (Stone
                 Street South) into Gananoque. Turn right on King Street. The
                 exercise will be on the corner of King Street West and
                 Market Street. Please have media identification available
                 for validation by local police.)
