pension plans in an increasingly precarious state, calling into question their
ongoing viability. This has prompted a firestorm of criticism by a growing
movement of Canadians calling on government and corporations to guarantee

less than half of all Canadian workers get any sort of pension from their
employer at all.

    Speakers at Thursday's rally include:

    Ken Lewenza, CAW President
Ken Georgetti, Canadian Labour Congress President
Andrea Horwath, Leader of the Ontario New Democratic Party
Wayne Samuelson, President of the Ontario Federation of Labour
Smokey Thomas, President of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union
