Media Advisory - Protest in front of Hydro-Québec Headquarters - A clothesline will be raised to save the Rupert River

    MONTREAL, Sept. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Citizens will join environmental groups
from Quebec and the United States, as well as representatives from Cree
communities that are the most affected by the damming and diversion of the
Rupert River by Hydro-Québec to denounce the negative impacts of large-scale
hydro-electric dams.
    They demand an immediate and complete stop of the derivation work done by
Hydro-Québec and a rigorous assessment of alternative solutions.
