Media Advisory - Prime Minister Harper: Shorten Waiting Times on the Environment

TORONTO, April 17 /CNW/ - The planet has a global warming fever and needs
the Kyoto cure. For months the government has been promising a cure for
Canada's increasing global warming fever. The environment has spent long
enough waiting in line and needs a prescription immediately.

The Climate Change prescription has been known for years:

Short Term: Emergency measures under Kyoto to break the fever
Medium Term: Absolute reductions in greenhouse gas emissions
Long Term: Counselling for our economic addiction to fossil fuels

WWF-Canada's panda mascot, despite having a critical fever, will be on
Parliament Hill, to stand in line with the planet and wait for the Kyoto cure.
