Media Advisory - Premier McGuinty To Commemorate 90th Anniversary Of Battle Of Vimy Ridge At Queen's Park

    TORONTO, April 8 /CNW/ - On Monday, April 9, Premier McGuinty and the
Honourable James K. Bartleman, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will attend a
special Ceremony of Remembrance marking the 90th anniversary of Canada's
victory at Vimy Ridge. The ceremony will be held at the Veterans' Memorial at
Queen's Park.
    "We must always remember and pay tribute to our brave soldiers who fought
to protect our way of life and our democracy," said McGuinty. "We should never
forget the sacrifices they made for us."

    When:   Monday, April 9 at 9:45 a.m.

    Where:  Veterans' Memorial
            Front lawn, Legislative Building
            Queen's Park
            Toronto, ON

    Note: Satellite trucks will be permitted to park on the east side of the
south driveway.
