Unusual "branded bread" campaign to raise awareness for the homeless
VANCOUVER, Oct. 24 /CNW/ - To help raise awareness and donations for the
First United Church Mission, Tribal DDB Canada is embarking on Canada's first
edible advertising campaign in downtown Vancouver. Armed with a propane torch,
branding irons and loaves of bread, ministry and agency representatives will
be handing out slices of bread toasted with the following thought-provoking
FOR SOME PEOPLE THIS IS A MEAL.
HELP US HELP THE HOMELESS
On hand for photo and interview opportunities will be Ric Matthews,
minister of the mission and community life, First United Church Mission and
Cosmo Campbell, creative director, Tribal DDB Canada. Monetary donations will
also be collected on site.
When: Thursday, October 25, 2007
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: The southeast corner of Robson and Burrard Streets
