MEDIA ADVISORY - PHOTO & INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES - OPP & OFSC TO LAUNCH NEW S.T.O.P. LOGO DURING SNOWMOBILE SAFETY WEEK

ORILLIA, ON, Jan. 14 /CNW/ -  The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and their partner the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) will be showcasing the OFSC's new S.T.O.P. (Snowmobile Trail Officer Patrol) logo as they jointly launch Snowmobile Safety Week at General Headquarters on Monday (January 17, 2011).

The new logo will be donned by OFSC volunteers as they patrol OFSC trails with the OPP this season and educate snowmobile enthusiasts about how to keep safe when they head out on the trails.     

The Media are invited to join OPP Commissioner Chris Lewis, OPP and OFSC officials to see the new S.T.O.P. logo for the first time and to hear how the OPP and OFSC are working together to ensure that Ontarians are safe while they enjoy snowmobile season.  Snowmobile Safety Week runs from January 16 to 22, 2011.
