Media Advisory - Petawawa area community heroes to receive recognition

    TORONTO, June 8 /CNW/ - The Petawawa Ontario Volunteer Service Award
ceremony will recognize Petawawa and surrounding area heroes: its volunteers.
    The ceremonies are part of the 46 taking place across the province
between March and June in which approximately 9,000 Ontario volunteers are
being recognized by the Ontario government.
    Local MPPs are invited to attend the ceremony and to bring greetings.

    Date:        Wednesday, June 10

    Location:    Petawawa Civic Centre
                 16 Civic Centre Road
                 Petawawa, ON

    Time:        Ceremony               7:30 pm
                 Reception              8:30 pm

    Photo opportunities are available before, during and after the ceremony.
Reception start time is approximate.
