    SUBJECT: WAR AMPS LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE WEBMASTERS PROGRAM FOR MULTIPLE
             AMPUTEE KIDS

    OTTAWA, Aug. 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Pascale Ménard, 16, of Embrun, Ontario,
Nicholas Harris, 11, of Kingsville, Ontario, and Nadine Richards, 13, of
Calgary, are about to learn that, despite being born with multiple
amputations, their employment future is bright.
    They and other "Super Champs" aged 10 to 18 enrolled in The War Amps
Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program from across Canada, are in Ottawa
August 13th to 17th to take part in the inaugural seminar of a dynamic new
program called WEBMASTERS.
    On Thursday August 16th at 10:30 a.m. at The War Amps National
Headquarters in Ottawa (2827 Riverside Drive; parking in rear) War Amps CEO
Cliff Chadderton will officially launch the WEBMASTERS seminar.

    Media are invited to come out and meet the children taking part.
Excellent photo and filming opportunities will be available, including the
Super Champs working on their individual Web sites and in The War Amps
in-house edit suite.
