                  - hosted by The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors with co-
                    hosts: BC Professional Fire Fighters' Burn Fund; BCPFF
                    Burn, Plastic and Trauma Unit at Vancouver General
                    Hospital; and BC Children's Hospital Burn Program

    What:         The Vancouver Fire Fighters Band will lead a procession of
                  Colour Guard, Honour Guard, Pipers, professional fire
                  fighters from around the Lower Mainland, burn survivors and
                  their families and healthcare professionals from burn units
                  at Vancouver General Hospital, BC Children's Hospital and
                  Victoria's Royal Jubilee Hospital to welcome more than 800
                  guests from around the world in the opening ceremony for
                  the Phoenix Society's 19th Annual World Burn Congress.
