Media Advisory - Ontario helps athletes reach full potential

    TORONTO, April 29 /CNW/ - Health Promotion Minister Margarett Best will
announce ongoing support for Ontario's high-performance athletes as part of
the McGuinty government's commitment to help Canada own the podium at the 2010
Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games in Vancouver.
    Josh McGuire from the 2008 Olympic Fencing Team and other Quest for Gold
funded fencers along with Vancouver 2010 Olympic Figure Skating hopefuls
Vanessa Crone and Paul Poirier, who have benefited from this provincial
support, will be in attendance.
