Media advisory - One year after the International AIDS Conference 2006: Are we doing enough about AIDS today?

    TORONTO, Aug. 8 /CNW/ - Please join Stephen Lewis and members of the
Canadian Coalition on HIV/AIDS and Youth in Africa (Care Canada, Plan Canada,
Save the Children Canada and World Vision Canada) for a news conference to
report the results of an Ipsos-Reid poll of Canadians' attitudes towards HIV
and AIDS and their government's response to the pandemic. The event marks one
year since Toronto hosted the International AIDS Conference that drew more
than 25,000 participants.

    What:        Release of a new Ipsos-Reid poll showing Canadian attitudes
                 towards HIV and AIDS worldwide one year after the
                 2006 International AIDS Conference in Toronto.
