    TORONTO, Sept. 25 /CNW Telbec/ - Alan Greenspan calls it a "once in a
century crisis." The U.S. government is poised to approve a bailout package
worth over $700 billion to avoid the next great depression.
    It's against this backdrop that Robert Rubin, former US Treasury
Secretary and Chairman of Citigroup and former Prime Minister Paul Martin
headline a one-day conference focused on the impact that the financial sector
crisis is having in the U.S., Canada and internationally.
    The event, hosted by Canada 2020 and the Financial Times, will be held on
Monday, September 29th at Toronto's Design Exchange. "From Crisis to
Opportunity in the North American Economy" is a gathering of leading experts
in the global financial services community that are grappling with some
difficult questions.
    This conference, moderated by Chrystia Freeland, U.S. Managing Editor of
the Financial Times, will bring together compelling and provocative
world-class speakers, including:
