Media advisory - Naval Reserve - GALILEE Exercice: More than 100 sailors training in Quebec!

    QUEBEC, April 26 /CNW Telbec/ - A port security exercise will happen
April 28 and 29 in the Quebec Harbour. The GALILEE Exercise is hosted by Her
Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) Montcalm, Naval Reserve unit in Quebec. More
than one hundred sailors from the Laurentienne area will gather for a port
security exercise involving seven small boats.
    GALILEE Exercise objective is to put together expertise developed in
different fields: radio communication, navigation, sea security, first aid
etc. The activity consists of several simulations.

    - men overboard
    - boat escort
    - break down
    - engine problems, towing
    - manifestation

    We invite the medias to go on board a boat and ride on the Saint Lawrence
River to see the action. The meeting point is Saturday April 28 at the
entrance of HMCS Montcalm (170 Dalhousie) between 9 am and 3 pm.
    The commanding officer of GALILEE Exercise and several reservists will be
available for interviews.
