TORONTO, June 25 /CNW/ - The MFC and eight families of different faith
groups will be addressing reporters about why they have just filed a lawsuit
in the Ontario Supreme Court on Monday, June 25, 2007 against the McGuinty
government alleging discrimination by the Government against their disabled
children in Ontario's non-Catholic religious schools. The families will also
be releasing details, previously concealed by the McGuinty government, of
large sums of Government money allocated to the disabled children, but
deliberately withheld from them by the Government's own agencies, and how the
Government continues to discriminate against their disabled children in each
of the represented faith communities.
For those unable to attend in person a press release will be available.
