Media Advisory - Moscow Ballet Auditions Local Children for Upcoming November Tour: Calgary, Edmonton, Regina & Saskatoon

    CALGARY, Aug. 18 /CNW/ - The Moscow Ballet is proudly hosting open
auditions in Regina, Saskatoon and Calgary for local ballet dancers to perform
in their Great Russian Nutcracker and Cinderella productions, coming this
    Through the Moscow Ballet's Educational Outreach Program, the company
engages local children in each city, ages 7-15, to audition and appear with
its renowned professional dancers.
    Russian born and trained, Svetlana Todinova, will lead auditions as the
Moscow Ballet's acclaimed ballet mistress and famed soloist. Known for her
high-speed jumps and strong accents, she will undoubtedly be an enormous
inspiration for aspiring young dancers.

    About Moscow Ballet

    Moscow Ballet is a Massachuchusetts-based touring company, which evolved
out of the all-star Russian cast 1986-92 Glasnost Festival, created by
award-winning theatrical producer and Juliard alumni, Akiva Talmi. Since its
