Media Advisory - Mission STS-118 Crew Visits MDA

    RICHMOND, BC, Oct. 23 /CNW/ - On November 1, 2007, MacDonald, Dettwiler
and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Astronaut Dave
Williams and the crew of the most recent Space Shuttle mission will be at MDA
in Richmond, BC to give a special Mission STS-118 presentation to MDA
employees. The presentation will highlight the mission's best moments, which
included three spacewalks for Canadian astronaut Williams, the first 'Teacher
in Space' and significant use of the Canadarm and Canadarm2, build by MDA.
