Media Advisory - Minister of Energy and Infrastructure to visit St. Catharines

    TORONTO, April 22 /CNW/ - The Honourable George Smitherman, Deputy
Premier and Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, along with the Honourable
Jim Bradley, Minister of Transportation and MPP for St. Catharines, will tour
St. Catharines Hydro's proposed Shickluna hydroelectric project site located
on the Twelve Mile Creek.
    Minister Smitherman will discuss the proposed Green Energy and Green
Economy Act, part of the McGuinty government's commitment to stimulate a green
economy, and build a culture of conservation.

    Time:     Review of Shickluna conceptual drawings  2:30 p.m.
