Media Advisory - Media briefing on new project to document impacts of no-fly lists and other watch lists on civil liberties, privacy rights and mobility rights

    VANCOUVER, June 16 /CNW Telbec/ - On the first anniversary of the
implementation of the Canadian no-fly list prominent civil liberties groups
and labour unions are joining to launch a new initiative aimed at documenting
the growing surveillance of travellers.
    A news conference will be held on June 18, 2008 in Vancouver to unveil
this innovative project and offer an initial assessment of the application of
Canada's Passenger Protect Program.
