Media Advisory - McGuinty government to announce support for research and innovation project in Sudbury

    SUDBURY, ON, Jan. 21 /CNW/ - Minister of Research and Innovation John
Wilkinson will be joined by MPP for Sudbury Rick Bartolucci to make an
announcement about cutting-edge research happening in Sudbury.

    Date:       Tuesday, January 22, 2008

    Location:   SNOLAB Operations Building
                INCO Creighton Mine No. 9
                Lively, ON, P3Y 1M3

    Directions from Sudbury:

    -  From Sudbury, head west on Lorne Road/Regional Road 55.
    -  Exit right onto Regional Road 24 (you will see a Tim Horton's,
       Independent Grocer's).
    -  Continue on Regional Road 24 through the town of Lively. After about
       5.5 km you will come to a large yellow INCO Creighton Mine sign. Exit
       to the right.
    -  Follow this mine road until you reach Creighton Mine No. 9 Shaft. You
       will have to stop at the security gate. Proceed through the gate to
       the tan and brown SNOLAB building straight ahead - park in the lot to
       the right and proceed to the main building entrance.

       Photo opportunity at the SNOLAB surface building. In addition a tour
       of SNOLAB's underground facility will be available to media. With the
       necessary preparation, this tour will run from 11:15 until 3 pm. No
       contact lenses can be worn on the tour.
