Media Advisory - Lieutenant Governor to mark Remembrance Day at Yorkminster Baptist Church

    TORONTO, Nov. 9 /CNW/ - The Hon. David C. Onley and Mrs. Ruth Ann Onley
will take part in a Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Yorkminster Baptist Church
located at 1585 Yonge Street in Toronto to honour war veterans on Remembrance
Day, 11 November 2007.

    10:20 AM  Arrival
              Their Honours will arrive at Yorkminster Baptist Church and
              will be greeted by the Rev. Dr. J. Peter Holmes.

    10:30 AM  Parade
              The Lieutenant Governor will review members of the Metropolitan
              Toronto Police War Veterans' Association as they march past
              prior to the ceremony.

    11:25 AM  Reading of "In Flanders Fields"
              His Honour will read "In Flanders Fields" written in 1915 by
              Canadian physician and World War I soldier, Lieutenant Colonel
              John McCrae.

    11:27 AM  Wreath Laying
              The Lieutenant Governor will lay a wreath on behalf of the
              people of Ontario.
