    About the AQTA

    The Association québécoise des transporteurs aériens (AQTA), started off
in 1975 as the Association des transporteurs aériens de brousse du Québec, and
became in April 2007 the Association québécoise du transport aérien. The AQTA
represents all sectors of air transport and groups the vast majority of
carriers (airplanes and helicopters) as well as their support industry,
including maintenance organizations, airports, flight training and maintenance
training institutions, NAV CANADA, fuel suppliers and insurance companies. The
AQTA encourages dialogue amongst stakeholders, targets key issues, promotes
air transport, monitors changes in the work environment and demographics,
ensures a strong advocacy role for its members and favours a strong and
cohesive voice for the progress of the air transport industry.
