Media Advisory - Largest Gift in Royal Ottawa History to be Announced Today

    OTTAWA, March 2 /CNW Telbec/ - The Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental
Health will announce a major donation today, March 2, at 11:00 a.m. in the
Winter Garden of the newly constructed Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre and
the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research.
    The donation is one of the largest gifts ever made to mental health in
Canada and is the largest gift received in the Royal Ottawa's 100-year
history. Ten community-minded students from Nepean High school will
participate in the event and announce the sum as part of a colourful spoof on
game show 'Deal-No Deal'.
    The Foundation will also pay tribute to the Royal Ottawa Health Care
Group physicians, each of whom collectively supported the campaign with an
unprecedented $1 million donation.
