    Coady Institute and StFX are set to make an historic announcement
    concerning the future of the Coady International Institute at a news
    conference this Friday

    ANTIGONISH, NS, Sept. 27 /CNW/ - Please join St. Francis Xavier
University President Dr. Sean Riley, Coady Director and StFX Vice President
Mary Coyle and their very special guests on Friday, September 28th at 12 noon
for this exciting announcement and celebration.
    "Right here, in the calm surroundings of this university town, we have a
resource, a treasure, that no other university in Canada enjoys," says StFX
President, Dr. Sean Riley. "We will announce an historic advance for the Coady
and for StFX."

    Monument unveiling

    The Rev. Dr. Moses Coady will be "coming home" as his monument, created
by famed artist and sculptor, Barbara Paterson (Famous Five on
Parliament Hill), is officially unveiled at 9:00 p.m. September 28 at StFX's
Homecoming Dinner and Dance. If you are unable to join us for the gala
unveiling of this historically significant Canadian monument, there will be a
photo opportunity for the media at 1:00 p.m. with all images embargoed until
9:00 p.m. Friday, September 28.
