Media Advisory - Goh Ballet takes major step for 30th anniversary

    VANCOUVER, Nov. 9 /CNW/ -

    When: Thursday, November 22, 2007, 3:30 p.m.

What: Press Conference (wine and hors d'oeuvres)

Where: Hotel Le Soleil (567 Hornby Street, Vancouver)

Co-founders of the Goh Ballet, Choo Chiat and Lin Yee Goh, along with Goh
Ballet Vancouver Society President Fei Wong, Executive Director Brian Gross,
and Director of Development Eddy Toussaint will present the Goh Ballet
Company's ambitious 30th Anniversary plans, 3-year production and touring
schedule, and its dynamic principal dancers.
Known the world over for its exceptional classical ballet training, there
isn't a major ballet company in North America, Europe or Asia that doesn't
have a Goh Ballet graduate in its ranks - from National Ballet of Canada, to
American Ballet Theatre, to Birmingham Royal Ballet, to Hong Kong Ballet.
But along with training, the Goh Ballet has been performing locally, and
touring nationally and internationally for over 20 years. For the 30th
Anniversary and beyond, with new Director of Development, Canadian dance icon
Eddy Toussaint (named Great Montréaler for his personal contribution to the
arts in Montréal and the province of Québec) the jewel of the Goh Ballet will
be placed into its proper setting - as a bona fide professional company.
