3,500 km adventure along the Trans Canada Highway through four provinces
raises more than $100,000 for The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada

WHAT: Giddy Up for Wishes founder and rider, Martha Birkett, will be
arriving in Calgary on Wednesday July 2 as she completes her 3,500
km horseback fundraising journey, in support of The Children's
Wish Foundation of Canada.
Martha's adventure, which began in Ottawa on March 30, took her
through four provinces and more than 100 cities, towns and
communities over a three-month period. Averaging approximately
50 kms per day on one of four horses, along the Trans Canada
Highway, Martha's journey has raised more than $120,000 for
