Largest technology donation ever made to B.C.'s biggest school district
VANCOUVER, Sept. 9 /CNW/ - Future Shop invites you to come and experience
the launch of the Future Leaders Tech Lab at Queen Elizabeth Secondary School,
a state-of-the-art computer assisted drafting (CAD) lab that took over 400
labour hours to renovate, refurnish and re-equip during the summer. Members of
the Surrey School Board and Future Shop executives will join Mayor Diane Watts
to mark the largest ever technology donation to a school in B.C.'s biggest
Participating students, the Q.E. Principal, Surrey School Board Vice
Chair and Future Shop executives will be available for on-camera interviews
following the presentation.
Photo Op: Queen Elizabeth students give demonstrations using
state-of-the-art computers and software in a dramatically
overhauled space. Media are invited to test-drive the new lab
in student-led teams.
