Unity Life policyholders to indicate if Foresters sponsored
demutualization is approved
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 27 /CNW/ -
What: At this special meeting of Unity Life policyholders,
eligible policyholders will vote on the company's proposal
to undergo a sponsored demutualization. The vote follows the
announcement of August 9, 2007, that Unity Life and
Foresters(TM) had entered into an agreement under which
Foresters will acquire Unity Life and Unity Life will
represent Foresters in the Canadian market as a member of
the Foresters group of companies. Unity Life will then
become a wholly owned subsidiary of Foresters.
