LAVAL, QC, Sept. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - Ville de Laval invites the media to the
10th edition of theFête de la famille in Laval, taking place on Sunday,
September 6, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Centre de la nature, 901 avenue du Parc
in Laval. Gilles Vaillancourt, mayor of Ville de Laval, will be on site from
11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Centre de la nature will be transformed into
a giant playground for people of all ages. Among the new features this year: a
zip-line, an entire village especially for children, medieval tournaments and
a visit from Benoît Archambault from the group Mes Aieux, who will present his
brand new show! These new attractions are in addition to the activities that
have made this family festival a success: performances, activities,
inflatables and, of course, a giant corn roast, with proceeds to the Red
All activities are free and parking is also free for Laval residents.
Families are encouraged to use public transit and take advantage of the
weekend family fares offered by the Société de transport de Laval.
