Media Advisory - Dr. Michael Baker Visits Kingston General Hospital to Discuss Patient Safety Initiative

    TORONTO, Aug. 29 /CNW/ - Dr. Michael Baker, Executive Lead - Patient
Safety for the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care will be at Kingston
General Hospital (KGH) to meet with media to discuss the upcoming full public
reporting of eight patient safety indicators - including Clostridium difficile
(C. difficile).

    Dr. Baker will be joined by:
        -  Dr. Dick Zoutman, Head, Infection Control Service and Medical
           Director of the South East Regional Infection Control Program
        -  Dr. David Goldstein, Director, Patient Safety and Clinical
           Director of Information Management for Kingston General Hospital
           and Hotel Dieu Hospital
        -  Dr. Peter Munt, Chief of Staff
        -  Eleanor Rivoire, Senior Vice President, Patient Care
