    Stage is set for Calgary Cares 2008 - Sweet 70's

    -   The much anticipated event is back! Calgary Cares 2008, Sweet 70's,
        will offer an exhilarating evening in support of AIDS Calgary's
        HIV/AIDS awareness, education, prevention, and support programs.

    -   The internationally acclaimed event will continue to push limits and
        display bold creativity. Calgary Cares 2008, Sweet 70's, will be an
        evening packed with music, theatre, dance, and fashion in support of
        HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention - all to the swinging sounds of the
        Sweet 70's.

    -   The event brings together a wide cross section of Calgary's vibrant
        community - CEOs and students, gay and straight, single and married,
        young and old. For one night, the event breaks down the barriers
        surrounding the stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS.

    -   Proceeds from Calgary Cares allow AIDS Calgary to provide programs
        and services for people at-risk for, living with and affected by
        HIV/AIDS, as well as education, outreach and prevention initiatives
        in the Calgary area.

    Photo opportunities will include:

    -   Eye-popping extravagance will flashback guests to a time of colour,
        music, and swinging fun.

    -   Heart-pounding performances will indulge the audience in a "sweet"
        blast of the 70's and all its sensual pleasures. Come prepared to
        fulfill all of your current and past desires! Calgary Cares promises
        to again deliver a powerful performance that will leave you hungry
        for more. All in good taste!

    AIDS Calgary is a local not-for-profit AIDS service organization that
offers support services to individuals who are at-risk for, infected or
affected by HIV/AIDS and provides prevention and education throughout the

for all individuals and communities in the Calgary region.
