Media Advisory - CUPE 15 announcement regarding union's response to City of Vancouver offers

    VANCOUVER, Aug. 27 /CNW/ - Union representatives of Vancouver's striking
inside workers will be available today at 10:00 a.m. to make an announcement
regarding their response to the City of Vancouver's two non-negotiated offers
presented to them by courier last Thursday.

               Keith Graham, CUPE 15 chief negotiator

               Barry O'Neill, CUPE BC president (available to speak on why
               the City of Vancouver is still on strike as civic agreements
               with CUPE continue to be signed throughout the Lower Mainland)

    Location:  CUPE 15 office, 545 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver

    Time:      10:00 a.m. - August 27, 2007

    CUPE 15 represents 2,400 Vancouver inside workers who have been on strike
since Monday, July 23, 2007.
