Media Advisory - Concordia Students to Protest International Tuition Fee Hike

    MONTREAL, Aug. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - On Friday, August 29th, Concordia
Students will be demonstrating outside a special Concordia University Board of
Governors meeting where the Board will be voting on a $1000 international
tuition fee increase for the fifth time. The meeting is in response to a
Quebec Superior Court ruling last week that ordered the University to
temporarily halt the collection of over $1.4 million in international tuition
fees voted on at a potentially illegal, closed door teleconference meeting in
June.

Demonstration against the international tuition fee increase:
    Friday August 29th, 2008, 7:30 a.m.
    Corner of Guy and Maisonneuve
