VANCOUVER, July 4 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010
Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) and the University of British
Columbia (UBC), in partnership with the Government of Canada and the Province
of British Columbia, will host a ceremony recognizing the completion of
construction at the UBC Thunderbird Arena.
VANOC, in partnership with the Government of Canada and the Province of
British Columbia, will also announce details of the Vancouver 2010 Venues'
Aboriginal Arts Program - a Canada-wide project celebrating Aboriginal art at
the 2010 Winter Games venues.
Speakers will be available for interviews following the announcements.
Following the announcements and interviews, media are invited to
